Project Partners

We work in partnership with third sector organisations to produce relevant research with high impact.

The Centre for Health and the Public Interest (CHPI) is an independent public-interest think tank founded in 2012. CHPI conducts critical research on health and social care to impact policy making. The aim of the Centre is to subject current policy to careful, evidence-based critical scrutiny; explore alternative solutions to the challenges of providing universal high-quality health and social care; promote greater democratic determination and accountability in the organisation and delivery of health and social care; and advocate for probity, integrity, and transparency in health policy-making.

The National Care Forum (NCF) is the membership organisation for not-for-profit organisations in the care and support sector. NCF members collectively deliver more than £2 billion of social care support to over 194,000 people in over 7,300 services and employ over 102,700 staff & 13,000 volunteers. We support our members to improve social care provision and enhance the quality of life, choice, control, and wellbeing of people who use care services. We are the voice of the not-for-profit care and support sector.

UNISON is the UK’s largest union, serving more than 1.3 million members. They represent full-time and part-time staff who provide public services, although they may be employed in both the public and private sectors. They negotiate and bargain on behalf of their members, campaign for better working conditions and pay and for public services.
